Beautiful boat but no cockpit. It's the most important spot in a trawler. I don't understand why certain boat makers just neglect this part of their boats. Ranger Tugs are popular because they have big cockpits with seating. When i'm not underway, this is where i spend all of my time, eat meals, socialize, read, alouette..

How do the anchors work?
Chain and rode are stored in locker at bow. Attach rode to anchor of choice, and manually drop into the water.
@@VaYachtBrokers The lightweight anchors on the bow look like they are decorations and the anchor chain locker was converted into a berth.
@@FreezyAbitKT7A Anchor locker is still present. The anchors included are one original Danforth from the Huckins factory, and one additional modern anchor of the same size. The Danforth's wings are used to set and hold the anchor in place while the chain provides weight to prevent drag. There's plenty of holding power for normal use. Your average 40ft vessel would only need a 20-25lb anchor with chain. This vessel is lighter than your average. If you have any serious interest, please give our office a call.

What about a generator for the R27 maybe i missed it, does it have an option? The reason i ask is because you said 4 or so hrs for A/C on battery, what if you wanted A/C all the time?
If all else failed, you could get a Jackery solar generator. They make one that takes a 30-amp plug and can run a boat at night, including AC for about 10 hours. You'd just have to recharge it during the day, but could probably put flexible panels across the bimini.
Yes there is a generator on board that feeds from the main tank.
